How do you think market research/consumer insights for your product/service?

Hi, everyone.

Please assist with some feedback if the question is applicable to you. As a startup, how do you currently go about doing market research or gather consumer insights for your product or service post revenue or before launch in markets or segments you have no visibility in? (outside of the primary customer data you already have access to)

For context, recently launched an MVP for a platform called Reaply(reply) that empowers research teams to collect valuable consumer insights through micro studies and in-person interviews conducted by a network of field agents in South Africa for now. The platform leverages AI-powered tools to ensure quality and relevance, delivering actionable data to drive informed decision-making.(sales pitch)

We've mostly been dealing with big brands/agencies with mega research projects, and we've just been thinking about the startup community for possible future iterations of the platform.
