From my conversations, I keep hearing: - "Email is hard" (deliverability, spam, etc.) - "I don't want to manage another server" - "What if I lose my emails?" - "Google/Microsoft just works"
But I'm also seeing people frustrated with: - Rising costs ($12/user/month for Google Workspace) - Privacy concerns - Account suspension risk - Vendor lock-in
For those of you still on Gmail/Outlook/etc. - what would it actually take for you to self-host?
Not trying to convince anyone, genuinely curious about the decision-making here.
