Ask HN: Slightly Strange LinkedIn Survey

I got an email about a survey from LinkedIn. I'm not fond of the site but I was curious what they'd ask and I kinda wanted to say "I loathe my feed." But it went in a direction I didn't expect.

It started with basic "Are you looking for a job right now?" (paraphrased) sort of questions.

But then the survey went in a direction I didn't expect.

"we want to understand how your personal and professional life are being impacted right now. Your responses will be analyzed in aggregate and may be used in external reports to help LinkedIn members understand current professional sentiment, especially in the midst of current events."

Multiple choice questions about "I feel confidant about".

- "Progress in my career."

- "Financial situation"

- "Get or hold a job"

Then:

"How do you expect the economy to fare...?"

While I don't doubt that seems related to what LinkedIn does, that quetsion seemed more like political survey questions than anything else.

I work for a small company so at most we track "How do you feel about the application", just out of curiosity.

Anyone else tracking "how our users expect the economy to fare?"
