I got tired of patching Tree-sitter grammars while I was building linting tools, so much so that I ended up writing a custom parsing framework and a bunch of custom grammars for popular languages. I figured I wasn't alone and that others would be hitting the same problem, especially with all the slop code being produced out there these days.
