I see there is an increasing call from tech community towards HTML to be adopted instead of Markdown due to its richness in the agentic communication layer. But is it versatile across any kind of interfaces? versatile with different format conversions? and performant (as the md is lightweight)?

I know what you&#x27;re thinking... and I still can&#x27;t believe it, but...This morning, our database flagged a duplicate UUID (v4). I checked, thinking it may have been a double-insert bug or something, but no.The original UUID was from a record added in 2025 (about a year ago), and today the system inserted a new document with a fresh UUIDv4 and it came up with the exact same one:b6133fd6-70fe-4fe3-bed6-8ca8fc9386cdWe&#x27;re using this:

How do you decide a model is good enough for a given task? Right now I use Opus for planning and harder tasks and switch to sonnet for more defined tasks. But I feel like sonnet is kind of stupid and is introducing issues because it can’t grasp the larger context? Is there some definitive way to say a model is good enough for a task? Or is it all vibes?

While using android, I just use the built-in (should called “forced to use”) google made GBOARD. What I’ve noticed since I use this, whenever there is any privacy oriented browser tab or any field to entry password or pin code, the keyboard UI becomes different– showing a incognito icon on left top. (Presenting themselves so much sincere to users privacy! Hahaha…)
And while using gboard on my iOS, whenever I’m going to entry any password or browsing private tab, iPhone automatically switches to default built in iOS keyboard. After noticing this two common incident, I discovered a thing new. Whatever and whenever I type something in gboard (in android especially,) goggle and Facebook like services starts to show me exactly the same thing as advertisement! Which clearly means, Gboard is just collecting everything I types everywhere! To be noted that, I never uses Gboards built in search feature, gif feature. Even no voice typing. Very rarely I use the translate bottom from keyboard. Also all of privacy related options both in gboard settings and google account settings are strictly turned off in my side. I know that all other third party commercial keyboard apps (swift&#x2F;gramarly…) tracks users typing. And gboard may track to enrich vocabulary and predictions (which will be acceptable in certain limit), But tracking everything for advertisement purposes, ai model training and further supplying to governmental agencies is never acceptable, nor anything ethical. 
Why I still using gboard on android (one of few ggl services I still use) is because their largest language collection (even with phonetic method!!), and secondly some tiny features such as undo&#x2F;redo option, clipboard and theme….What I thinking now is to modify the apk file firstly to stop getting updates and permanently cutting off gboards connection from internet. Is it a easy task to do? Suggest me if there any discontented Gboard version. Also please share thoughts about keyboard tracking.

Not exactly technical, but HN feels like the correct crowd to ask because asking anywhere else I would be considered mentally ill.I have a tinnitus that seems to stay 99,9% of the day, it’s away for some minutes sometimes and it’s very high frequency. Imagine a power supply coil whine.Now the mentally ill part: the tinnitus can change position (left&#x2F;right ear) and change volume. I didn’t hear the tinnitus on the right ear for some days, now it’s back on it (and still audible on the left ear) after sitting on the couch again.The couch, you ask? Two weeks ago, when the tinnitus started, we changed the layout of our living room. The couch was now located next to our WiFi router. The tinnitus started shortly after that. I never had tinnitus before. Guess what, the router makes the same noise (even my partner can hear it). After some days of realizing it might be from the router, I changed the position of it to the other side of the room, but now somehow I can still hear the high frequency from the router from 3 meters apart. And as soon as I start sitting on the couch, the tinnitus gets much worse. Even disabling electricity in the full house I still hear that WiFi router noise in my ear.Am I insane? Is this a thing? Can some frequency cause a tinnitus which can be re-triggered by the same frequency? Can it have a memory effect? Could it be it doesn’t go away even if I don’t sit on the couch for days because all these power supplies have high frequency coil whine in each and every facility these days, which trigger it again?I feel like Neo from The Matrix who got enlightened and now can hear electricity, but without the rest of the super powers :(PS: I visited a doctor and am doing the usual medical procedures to deal with tinnitus (Prednisolone 60mg&#x2F;day), but it doesn’t help in any way.
